Dear Students and friends,
Summer is officially here and that means that there are going to be some GREAT opportunities to train.
Although summer is a great time to relax, take vacations and travel it is also one of the most destructive times of the year when it comes to reaching our fitness and saftey goals. We all tend to "slip" when it comes to demonstrating discipline to our nutrition and excercise routines.
I have wrote about my 4 step process before, but to recap here it is again.
Belief System-Decisions-Actions-Results
EVERY choice we make in life is indirectly caused because of our belief system or paradigm. (Your subconsious mind)
If you operate with the Belief System that you "SHOULD" eat for performance and commit to an excerice routine, than your mind will validate reasons why you can't always commit to your plan. Ex: schedule, tired, too busy, it's your vacation, etc...
When you operate with the Belief System that you "MUST" eat for performance and commit to an excerice routine, you will always find a way to commit to your plan.
I highly encourage all of you to operate with the Belief System that you MUST eat properly as well as stay commited to a excerice routine. Your health and fitness level "MUST" be a top priority in your life.
I work with a lot of students that are in the process of improving their "not so great" health and fitness level. As an effective coach, it is my absolute resposiblity to shift their paradigm from their "I should be healthy" to "I MUST be healthy."
To my parents, I truly thank you for investing in my programs and believe me that shows your kids how much you care about their health and safety, however you MUST lead by example.
If you are not currently at the health, fitness and confiednce level that you deserve it sends conflicting messages to your children.
There is NO coincidence that my top students that are at the highest fitness, fighting & performance level all come from families in which most if not all the members train with me. Self-Defense, fitness and overall health is NOT a choice for them it is a way of life.
If I could ever be of service to any of you NEVER hesitate to ask. My mission is to abolish your "victim mindset" in ALL of my students. This destructive mindset refers to ANY time that you do not pocess the will power to make an positive decision, a violent attack, argument, food choices and work out routines.
